Job summary

Talent is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with Level 3 support to join our Adelaide-based client. This hands-on role covers server, virtualization, network and security infrastructure, while also supporting O365, Azure, Entra ID and endpoint services.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will lead technical delivery, drive change control, and mentor the IT team. The role requires hands-on expertise in AD, Fortinet, Dell PowerEdge, backup and DR.

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS and DHCP.
• Fortinet/FortiGate firewall experience.
• Dell PowerEdge server familiarity.
• Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity knowledge.
• Experience with Defender, Sentinel, Purview or PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Dell PowerEdge servers, Windows Server and Hyper-V clusters, including health monitoring and upgrades.
• Administer Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, replication and domain services.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID, including authentication and Conditional Access.
• Manage Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, device compliance and endpoint security.
• Administer Dell and HPE Aruba networking and wireless infrastructure.
• Manage Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls, VPNs and security policies.
• Support backup, recovery, storage, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and resolve complex infrastructure, network and security issues.
• Deliver infrastructure, cloud, network and security projects through change-control processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer across the IT team.

One of our clients is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with Level 3 support based in Adelaide.

Reporting to the Head of IT, this position will act as the technical lead across server, virtualisation, network and security infrastructure, while also supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, identity and endpoint services.

This is a hands‑on senior technical role combining infrastructure operations, Level 3 support, security, cloud services and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Dell PowerEdge servers, Windows Server and Microsoft Hyper‑V Failover Clusters, including health monitoring, capacity, patching, firmware, upgrades and fault resolution.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, replication and domain services.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID, including authentication, Conditional Access and privileged access.
• Manage Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, device compliance, endpoint security and application deployment.
• Administer Dell and HPE Aruba switching and wireless infrastructure.
• Manage Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls, VPNs and security policies.
• Support backup, recovery, storage, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
