Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Sydney is seeking a Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale transformation project.

The role focuses on designing, automating, and delivering modern infrastructure platforms within a complex enterprise environment. You will build and migrate services, embrace Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible, and develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, collaborating with multiple teams to improve reliability, performance and security.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive VMware experience including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi and vSAN.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, DNS, IPAM and load balancing solutions.
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash and/or Python.
• Experience delivering infrastructure migration and transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Configure and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Support infrastructure migration and transformation initiatives.
• Automate operational processes through scripting and orchestration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive root cause resolution.
• Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
