Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an AWS Technical Cloud Engineer to join a high-performing cloud team on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on scaling large AWS environments, infrastructure automation, security, and reliable cloud platform services across multi-account environments.

Hybrid work is available in Sydney or Melbourne, with an ASAP start. You will design, implement, and optimize AWS infrastructure, drive IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver secure,

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS engineering experience across EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda and RDS.
• Expertise with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Scripting and automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell and AWS CLI.
• Strong understanding of AWS security, identity management and network security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support AWS cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate operational and deployment activities using Python, Bash, PowerShell and AWS CLI.
• Manage and enhance AWS security, IAM controls, networking and governance frameworks.
• Support and optimise containerised workloads using Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues across multiple AWS accounts.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers while engaging effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
