Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an AWS Technical Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract in Sydney or Melbourne, offering hybrid work. The role focuses on building and maintaining large-scale AWS environments, implementing infrastructure as code, automating deployments, and strengthening cloud security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda).
• Strong IaC capabilities using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Scripting and automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell and AWS CLI.
• Expertise in AWS security, IAM, identity and network security best practices.
• Experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes in enterprise multi-account environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support AWS infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate operational tasks with Python, Bash, PowerShell and AWS CLI.
• Strengthen cloud security, IAM controls and governance frameworks.
• Support container workloads on EKS and Kubernetes; optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud issues across multiple AWS accounts.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and stakeholders.
