Job summary

Bluefin Resources, Sydney-based, seeks a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead edge/Iott infrastructure architecture across multi-site environments. You will define roadmaps for edge compute, design scalable solutions, and architect Red Hat Linux with OpenShift in single-node and hybrid-cloud contexts.

You will drive IaC, automation, CI/CD and GitOps with Ansible and Azure Pipelines, and embed security through DevSecOps and Policy-as-Code.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in infrastructure architecture or senior systems engineering.
• Strong Red Hat Linux and OpenShift expertise.
• Experience with large-scale, distributed or multi-site infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Edge computing and physical infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC, automation and DevOps/DevSecOps.
• Excellent communication with technical teams and stakeholders.

We're partnering with alarge Australian enterprise toassist them in findinga Senior Infrastructure Architect with strong experience across Edge infrastructure, Red Hat Linux and OpenShift.

This is a great opportunity to work on the architecture and technology strategy behind large-scale, distributed infrastructure, combining modern cloud-native platforms with physical environments across multiple locations.

This tech lead architecture role will see you:

• Define the architecture and roadmap for Edge and IoT infrastructure
• Design scalable compute, storage and networking solutions across a large multi-site environment
• Architect Red Hat Linux and OpenShift platforms, including single-node and hybrid-cloud environments
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD and GitOps using technologies such as Ansible and Azure Pipelines

• Experience with IaC, automation and DevOps/DevSecOps
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
