Job summary

Correlate Resources is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale Edge infrastructure. The role focuses on Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and automation to enable scalable, self-service platforms across a distributed environment.

The candidate should bring strong architecture ownership, engineering depth, and excellent stakeholder communication to drive platform modernization and DevOps adoption across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Deep Linux engineering experience.
• Strong Kubernetes experience.
• Strong container platform knowledge.
• Experience designing and building infrastructure or hosting platforms.
• Strong command line, scripting and automation capability.
• Experience working beyond BAU support, including solution design and engineering.

• Design and evolve Linux based Edge hosting platforms
• Define architecture and technical standards across compute, containers and networking
• Support the migration to Red Hat OpenShift
• Design Kubernetes and container hosting solutions
• Build and validate solutions in lab environments before scaled rollout
• Develop repeatable infrastructure patterns using scripting and automation
• Create technical designs, architecture diagrams and supporting documentation
• Work closely with Engineers, Product Owners and senior stakeholders
• Help enable DevOps pipelines and self-service capabilities for application teams

Technical Architect, Edge Infrastructure

An opportunity to join a large scale Edge infrastructure transformation, modernising the Linux hosting and container platforms that support a highly distributed physical environment.
This role suits either an established Technical Architect or a strong Lead / Principal Engineer who has deep Linux engineering experience and wants broader architecture ownership.
The opportunity You’ll help design and modernise the Edge hosting environment, with a strong focus on Linux, containers, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
You’ll work across architecture, engineering and stakeholder management, defining how platforms are designed, built, automated and deployed at scale.
The team is currently progressing a major OpenShift migration and broader Edge modernisation program, with a strong focus on automation and self-service infrastructure.

You do not need to be a network engineer, but you should understand how networking and compute interact within an Edge environment.
