Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a Principal Information Security Customer Engagement Engineer based in Sydney or Melbourne. You will own the regional information security narrative, engage with enterprise customers, and collaborate with global security and product teams to shape security practices.

You will drive security questionnaires, Trust Center materials, and in-region customer engagements, leveraging AI to streamline processes and reduce friction in the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on understanding of information security principles, control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience engaging with customer security, legal and procurement teams.
• Strong ability to discuss complex security topics with customers and teams.
• Comfort with in-region collaboration across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Own the information security narrative for the region and represent the voice of the customer in the global security organisation.
• Serve as the sole in-region Information Security Customer Engagement resource, partnering with sales, GTM and product teams.
• Lead customer security engagement calls and complete security questionnaires to help win and retain business.
• Maintain high-quality interactions, ensuring trust, transparency and clarity.
• Curate and maintain local Trust Center content and customer-facing security materials.
• Collaborate with Product Management to bring security capabilities into the product roadmap.
• Drive automation and AI-powered improvements in security engagement processes.
• Support additional business engagement and compliance activities as needed.
