Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a senior Principal Information Security Customer Engagement Engineer to represent the team across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, with a base in Sydney or Melbourne. You will own customer security engagements end-to-end and provide expert guidance on products and security practices to reduce friction in the sales cycle.

You will collaborate with global security and product teams, influence product direction, and drive automation using AI to streamline security

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in information security, including significant experience in customer-facing security assurance, GRC, or pre-sales security within a software or SaaS environment.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, APPs and NZ Privacy Act.
• Familiarity with IRAP and NZISM will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own the information security narrative for the region, acting as the senior escalation point for complex customer security matters.
• Serve as the sole in-region information security customer engagement resource, partnering with sales, GTM and product teams.
• Lead customer security engagement calls and complete security questionnaires to help win and retain business.
• Maintain high-quality standards across all customer interactions to build trust and transparency.
• Curate and maintain local Trust Center content and customer-facing security materials.
