Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a Principal Information Security Customer Engagement Engineer to lead the regional security narrative for Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Based in Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid work, you will own customer security engagements end-to-end, guiding on products and security practices to reduce friction in the sales cycle.

You will collaborate with global teams, manage local Trust Center content, and drive automation and AI in security questionnaire responses,

Qualifications

10+ years in information security, including customer-facing security assurance or pre-sales security.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous but not essential.
Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, APPs and privacy acts; IRAP/NZISM familiarity valued.

Responsibilities

Own the information security narrative for the region and serve as the senior escalation point for complex customer security matters.
Lead customer security engagement calls and complete security questionnaires to help win and retain business.
Maintain Trust Center content and customer-facing security materials; ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Collaborate with Product Management to bring security capabilities into the product roadmap.
Drive automation and AI-enabled improvements across security engagement activities.
