Job summary

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in security engineering and networking, with Cisco technologies experience, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, MIS, or related technical field
• 5+ years of combined hands-on experience in analysis and security engineering, research and/or consulting
• 5+ years of networking background; preferred experience with Cisco technologies
• Experience understanding and determining vulnerabilities via industry standard tools
• Experience monitoring and assessing security threats
• Responsible for remediation or analysis for identified security incidents
• Understanding of enterprise, network, system/endpoint, and application-level security issues and risks

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and remediate threats in collaboration with the security department and IT/business stakeholders
• Design, build, operate and monitor security infrastructure, platforms, applications, and tools
• Mitigate or remediate vulnerabilities and manage technology risks across the enterprise
• Conduct vendor security assessments for new vendors as required
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats identified by Torrens security systems
• Enter information into ticketing systems to track threats, assignments, and remediation actions
