Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting in Victoria is seeking a Systems Engineer / Specialist Technician to join our team on a contract, casual, or permanent basis. You will manage and maintain ICT infrastructure in schools and deliver Tier 2/3 support for the Department of Education.

The role requires at least 5 years of industry experience, including TSSP or education-sector ICT experience. You will work independently and in teams, with strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
• Experience in the TSSP program or education sector preferred.
• Senior-level corporate IT support experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
• Administer and support school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments.
• Collaborate with school leadership teams and deliver ICT professional development when required.
