Job summary

Stantec in Perth is seeking a Project Technical Leader, Hydraulic Engineer to lead a diverse range of hydraulic building services design projects. The role requires consultancy experience within the building sector and strong stakeholder management.

You will mentor junior engineers, deliver projects on time, and ensure designs comply with Australian standards and client specs across multiple concurrent assignments.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering discipline.
7 years hydraulic building services experience.
Strong communication and management skills.
Ability to lead client-facing projects.

Responsibilities

Develop hydraulic building services designs including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and gas systems.
Lead client-facing project delivery from concept through to construction.
Prepare technical documentation, calculations, assessments, specifications, and tender packages.
Conduct site inspections, defect reporting, and respond to RFIs during construction.
Mentor and support junior engineers and manage multiple projects.
