Job summary

Master Trade Services is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and high-end residential projects in Melbourne. You will own projects from award to commissioning and handover, drive profitability, manage budgets and timelines, and maintain strong client and builder relationships.

You'll shape how we deliver work as we grow, with support from a leadership team that values quality, collaboration and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager in commercial HVAC and mechanical services.
• Strong knowledge of VRF/VRV, packaged units, ducted systems, ventilation, refrigerant pipework.
• Ability to manage budgets, variations and claims on multiple projects.
• Proven leadership and ability to coordinate installers and subcontractors.
• Organised, proactive and capable of running several jobs simultaneously.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and high-end residential projects end to end – scope, program, budget, procurement, delivery, commissioning and handover
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders and project managers
• Coordinate install team, technicians and subcontractors with clear plans and scope
• Schedule teams to keep jobs on time and on budget
• Interpret mechanical drawings, manage RFIs, variations and submissions
• Order equipment/materials via purchase orders
• Track costs, manage variations and prepare progress claims
• Conduct regular site visits to check quality, safety and progress
• Write and implement project policies, procedures and systems
• Keep projects moving on time and within program
