Job summary

CPP, a leading HV infrastructure provider, is seeking a Senior Engineer – Primary to deliver high‑voltage substation designs from concept through construction support in Adelaide. You will contribute to complex, nationwide projects and produce technically sound primary electrical designs for wind, solar and storage assets.

You will bring deep HV experience, strong skills in system studies, earthing, insulation coordination and protection coordination, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry.
• Expertise in substation design.
• Hands on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies or Earthing.
• Power system study experience (not reviewing) including lightning, lighting, short circuit, load flow etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-voltage substation designs from concept through construction support.
• Produce detailed engineering studies in HV applications.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are practical and constructible.
