Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) is expanding its national in-house design engineering team and seeks a Senior Civil Engineer. This role focuses on delivering high‑voltage substations, battery storage and renewable energy project civil designs with practical and safe outcomes.

You will mentor engineers while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals. Based in our Adelaide head office, you will influence design decisions, ensure constructibility and compliance, and help

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng highly regarded).
• 7+ years of experience in civil design, ideally within energy, utilities, mining or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Australian design standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience in High-Voltage (HV) substation and/or utility grid connections civil design will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative, practical, and safe civil designs for high-voltage substations, battery storage systems and renewable energy projects.
• Provide technical guidance across stormwater drainage, earthworks, pavements and access road design.
• Mentor design engineers and graduates, fostering technical development within the team.
• Support ongoing innovation and continuous improvement of civil design processes.
