Job summary

Gransolar Group seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for substation design and related HV infrastructure work. You will contribute to or lead the development of high-quality engineering solutions across the project lifecycle, from early-stage design to commissioning.

You will collaborate with clients, project managers and multidisciplinary teams, delivering robust protections, control schemes and documentation while upholding HV design standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering primary and/or secondary substation designs.
• Strong understanding of HV design standards and utility requirements.
• Experience producing technical documentation, drawings, studies and design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary and/or secondary substation designs for HV projects.
• Develop SLDs, schematics, protection and control designs, equipment layouts and documentation.
• Support power system studies including load flow, fault level, protection and earthing analysis.
• Lead or contribute to design through procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with clients, project teams and engineers to deliver practical solutions.
