Job summary

UGL Limited in North Sydney is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead HV primary design and power system studies for transmission line and substation projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, check deliverables and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a four-year Electrical Engineering degree, Chartered or progressing toward CPEng, and six years of HV experience. Proficiency with CDEGS, EMT/PSSE/DIgSILENT, and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Engineers Australia membership preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in HV power system design or studies.
• Experience with HV transmission line and substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HV primary design and power system studies for transmission line and substation projects.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines and support tendering.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to developing engineers and act as Design Package Leader when appointed.
