Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited is seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Training Advisor to lead safety outcomes across Australia. You will develop and maintain HSE documentation, report on metrics, and mentor teams on site while offering remote support from the office.

The ideal candidate has mining/construction experience, WHS audits, and holds Cert IV WHS and Cert IV TAE, plus White Card, Police clearance and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, construction or project environments.
• WHS auditing, inspections and assurance experience.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems.
• ICAM investigation training.
• Construction White Card held.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of HSE system documentation, including standards, procedures, forms and templates.
• Provide regular analysis and reporting of metrics to communicate progress against HSET plans and key objectives.
• Provide training and mentoring on site.
• Provide remote support when based in the office.
