Job summary

Civmec Construction & Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HSE Superintendent for the Iluka Rare Earths Refinery project in Eneabba, WA. You will lead safety performance, drive a strong safety culture, and manage HSE activities across SMPE&I works on a high-profile processing facility.

The role is based at Eneabba with a 2:1 DIDO roster and site transport provided from Perth. You will report to the project safety leadership and collaborate across corporate teams to ensure ALARP risk

Qualifications

• Diploma in OH&S or WHS required.
• ICAM or Taproot incident investigation certification.
• 10+ years in a similar HSE role on remote construction or mining sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE Management System for the project.
• Audit site HSE systems for compliance and effectiveness.
• Design and roll out new HSE initiatives to improve safety.
• Compile and distribute HSE reports and incident analyses.
• Communicate HSE requirements across project and corporate teams.
• Support risk identification and ALARP implementation.
• Lead incident investigations and present findings to teams.
• Submit monthly HSE reports.
• Conduct monthly HSE audits across the site.
• Close out HSE actions and promote safety initiatives.
