Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Brisbane QLD is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment leader to oversee HSE across multiple sites. You will drive compliance, enhance systems and foster a proactive safety culture while supporting operational leaders.

You will manage ISO frameworks, lead audits, mentor HSE teams and report insights to senior leadership, with regular travel to operational sites from our Brisbane base.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in a senior HSE position within construction, mining, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure or related industry.
• Experience leading HSE functions across multiple sites or business units.
• Experience managing ISO management systems and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Manage ISO management systems and accreditation frameworks.
• Lead audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Drive best practice HSE standards across operational environments.
• Oversee incident investigations, risk assessments and injury management processes.
• Coach and mentor HSE personnel and operational leaders.
• Prepare HSE reports and provide insights to senior leadership.
