Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a major civil construction project in a remote Western Australian location. The role is a 12-month project on a 2:1 FIFO roster, with 35% site uplift and a salary of $130,000-$140,000 plus super.

You will be the primary HSE representative on site, supporting a team of 20-30 personnel and ensuring the project maintains high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance. FIFO experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' HSE experience within civil construction.
• Around 4 years' overall industry experience.
• Diploma in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience on civil construction or major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day HSE support and guidance across the project
• Working closely with the Project Manager and site leadership team
• Managing HSE documentation, reporting, inspections and compliance requirements
• Conducting site inspections, audits, toolbox meetings and safety interactions
• Supporting risk assessments, SWMS and incident investigations
• Maintaining accurate HSE records and project documentation
• Building strong working relationships with the client and other project stakeholders
• Promoting a positive safety culture across the site
• Ensuring project activities comply with relevant legislation, standards and company requirements
