Sedgman, a CIMIC Group subsidiary, is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join the team in Brisbane or across Australia. You will provide practical HSE guidance, support incident investigations, and drive risk management across sites, projects and corporate functions within the APAC region.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher, strong risk management and auditing experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HSE advisory role within mining, resources, construction, heavy industry or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, incident investigation and auditing processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide HSE guidance to operational and project teams across the business.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with legislative and company requirements.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action management.
• Facilitate risk assessments and critical risk management activities across operational and project environments.
• Assist with contractor management, prequalification and assurance processes.
• Develop and deliver HSE training, awareness initiatives and safety communications.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support site teams through regular travel and engagement with frontline personnel and leaders.
