Job summary

Georgiou Group in Perth, WA is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to lead safety management on a major infrastructure project worth around $250M. You will develop and implement HSE strategies, mentor site safety personnel and drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, MRWA/OMTID standards, and Georgiou’s safety systems while upholding our Care, Integrity and Excellence values.

Qualifications

• Diploma in WHS and at least five years verified relevant experience in safety management within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of and experience in incident causation investigation methods (ICAM).
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead a small team and promote compliance with WHS legislation across project teams.
• Familiarity with MRWA/OMTID infrastructure project safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation of Georgiou’s HSE systems
• Lead the development and implementation of project HSE strategies, champion safety excellence and mentor site-based safety personnel to drive continuous improvement.
• Have knowledge of and experience in incident causation investigation methods (ICAM).
• Have experience on projects of a similar character, circa $250M and complexity to the Project.
• Implements and communicates improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities
• Maintaining and assisting in the ongoing development of Georgiou’s HSE systems
