Job summary

Georgiou, part of STRABAG SE, is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join the Perth project team delivering major infrastructure in Western Australia. The role focuses on developing and implementing HSE strategies, mentoring site safety personnel, and driving continuous safety improvements.

You will bring a Diploma in WHS and at least five years of construction safety management experience, including ICAM incident investigations and MRWA/OMTID standards familiarity.

Qualifications

• Diploma in WHS and at least five years verified relevant experience in safety management within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of incident causation investigation methods (ICAM).
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead a small team and promote WHS compliance across project teams.
• Familiarity with MRWA/OMTID infrastructure project safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate and implement Georgiou’s HSE systems effectively.
• Lead the development and rollout of project HSE strategies and mentor site-based safety personnel.
• Apply ICAM methods for incident causation investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Bring experience from projects of significant size and complexity (circa $250M) to the role.
• Implement and communicate HSE improvements in response to changes impacting activities.
• Maintain and assist in developing Georgiou’s HSE systems.
