Job summary

Georgiou is recruiting an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our established, high-performing team on a civils road widening project in Australia. You’ll work within STRABAG SE’s global network, leveraging local expertise and international standards to deliver safe, high-quality infrastructure.

You will lead field operations, coordinate sub-contractors and drive cost efficiency while upholding Georgiou’s values of Care, Integrity, and Excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure project targets of time, cost and quality are met.

• Ensure construction-related aspects of the project meet or exceed the required performance targets in relation to time, cost and quality
• Maintain our contractual schedule/program, including productivity units and extension of time
• Engagement and management of subcontractors from tender to scope delivery in a way to embodies our vision to be the best people to work with
• Monitor and report on task productivity, financial outcomes and performing cost control to ensure project targets are optimised
• Provide daily support, team supervision and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company set performance criteria

What you're good at:

• Aside from having relevant tertiary qualifications and similar project experience, you're driven and confident in your management and planning abilities with both contractors/suppliers and project compliance as well as possess high standards in managing safety, quality and environment.
• Experience in road widening projects, drainage, pavements and bulk earthworks
• Demonstrated experience in managing costs, quality, programme and mentoring upcoming engineers
• Proven ability to deliver construction across structures, civils or buildings.
• Strong Knowledge across MRTS specification
• You will have experience with civil and/or structural engineering principles across varies mid/high value projects.
