Job summary

Pathfinder Recruitment is seeking a Senior HR Systems Consultant for a global client in Sydney's Redfern on a 6-month contract. You will lead hands-on HRIS configuration from design through go-live, with a strong focus on UAT, testing, and change activities.

You'll partner with People & Culture, Technology and business stakeholders to ensure the HR platform delivers a great employee experience, integrates with the wider tech landscape, and supports a fast-paced, globally distributed organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience implementing, configuring or supporting HR/People systems.
• Hands-on HRIS configuration and implementation experience.
• Experience with UAT, testing and defect management.
• Experience taking systems through go-live and stabilisation.
• Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Configure and build HR system solutions from agreed designs
• Lead UAT, including test planning, scripts, test data, defect management and business sign-off
• Assess impact of system and process changes across payroll, finance, reporting and other connected systems
• Coordinate integration and regression testing
• Develop and deliver stakeholder communications, training and change activities
• Support go-live, hypercare and continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce manual workarounds
• Support decommissioning of the existing HR platform and secure retention of employee data
• Partner with P&C, Technology and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

About the role

This Global client is currently undertaking a significant HRIS transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Senior HR Systems Consultant to join the People & Culture team on a 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an HR Systems professional who enjoys taking systems from design and configuration through testing, implementation and go-live.

You’ll work closely with People & Culture, Technology and key business stakeholders to ensure the new HR platform delivers a great experience for employees and managers, while integrating effectively with the wider technology environment.

What you'll be doing
