Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an experienced People Systems and HRIS leader to own the HR Systems landscape end to end, spanning HRIS platforms, workforce technology, automation and AI-enabled tools. You will drive evaluation, implementation and governance to support the organisation's strategy, workforce needs and employee experience while maintaining data governance.

In this role you will partner with ICT, Risk and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that improve workforce

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, ICT or equivalent with experience in People Systems.
• Experience with HRIS, workforce tech or digital transformation.
• Experience configuring and governing enterprise HRIS platforms.
• Proven vendor management and system implementation skills.
• Strong data governance, privacy and compliance knowledge.

HR Systems Manager

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced People Systems and HRIS professional to join a large, ASX-listed leader in construction and natural resources, with operations spanning Australia and international markets.

This role sits within the People & Culture function and owns the HR Systems landscape end to end, from HRIS platforms and workforce technology through to automation and AI-enabled tools. You will lead the evaluation, implementation and governance of these systems, ensuring they support the organisation's strategy, workforce needs and employee experience while maintaining strong data governance and compliance standards.

Responsibilities will include:

• Owning and optimising the People Systems landscape, ensuring platforms, processes and integrations effectively support the organisation and its workforce
• Driving continuous improvement of People and Culture systems through automation, workflow enhancement and emerging technology
• Leading the evaluation, implementation and enhancement of people technology solutions, including HRIS, AI-enabled tools and digital workforce platforms
• Building and maintaining a prioritised portfolio of people systems initiatives, balancing operational needs, business value and risk
• Partnering with ICT, Risk, Cyber Security and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that improve workforce capability and decision-making
• Leading the responsible adoption of AI and automation across People and Culture processes, ensuring transparency, human oversight and appropriate risk management
• Establishing and maintaining governance frameworks for People Systems, including data governance, privacy, security and compliance standards
• Managing vendor relationships and technology partnerships, including performance monitoring and contract compliance

To be considered for this role, you will bring:

• A degree in Human Resources, Project Management, ICT or equivalent demonstrated experience in People Systems or ICT
• Experience in People Systems, HRIS, workforce technology or digital transformation
• Demonstrated experience managing and optimising enterprise HRIS platforms, including configuration, governance and vendor management
• Experience leading system implementation and transformation projects, including stakeholder engagement, testing and change management
• Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate and implement technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions
• A strong understanding of workforce data management, reporting, analytics and data governance principles
• Knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity and compliance requirements relating to employee and organisational data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
