Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead and deliver business analysis for HR technology projects within the HR subdomain of IT Corporate Services. You will partner with business and IT teams to capture requirements, document processes, and shape effective solutions.

The role reports to the Lead BA – HR and has no direct reports. You will build strong stakeholder relationships, facilitate workshops, and mentor a team of analysts to ensure sound delivery and alignment with UNSW

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in business analysis or related field.
• Experience with EA and yEd for modelling.
• Proven ability in notations such as ER, UML and BPMN.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring of analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver business analysis activities for HR technology projects and operational initiatives.
• Partner with business and IT teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery activities; model requirements and processes.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to Analysts and drive continuous improvement of BA practices.
