Job summary

Webuild in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the Brisbane team. The role partners with leaders to deliver HR support across employee relations, workforce planning, performance and talent development, ensuring alignment between business priorities and people outcomes.

Travel to site may be required as part of delivering HR solutions. You will work with stakeholders including project teams, the business, and clients to achieve deadlines and deliver optimal outcomes,

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a business partnering capacity.
• On-site experience in construction/engineering or mining environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, case management and investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to develop and implement people solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and drive governance and approvals.
• Provide HR advice to Project Managers, Line Managers and employees on policies and procedures, including complex employee relations.
• Draft HR correspondence such as contracts, policies, and org charts.
• Produce HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making.
• Implement HR initiatives and calendar events with ongoing guidance.
• Coach leaders and mentor junior HR team members.
