Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing VIC is seeking a Senior Housing Services Officer (HAAT) to support the Team Leader in delivering frontline housing services across the Loddon Area. You will assist clients who are homeless or seeking housing and manage housing register queries, applications and tenancy advice.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening including a national police check and misconduct screening.
• Experience or ability to work in housing services or tenancy-related support.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Team Leader HAAT to deliver housing services and support a small team.
• Initiate and facilitate case conferences for clients with cross-department and agency collaboration.
• Review and propose early intervention strategies using risk assessment tools and frameworks.
