Job summary

AECOM Perth is seeking a developing civil engineer to support the delivery of site infrastructure design packages across projects. You’ll contribute to stormwater, earthworks and basic water/wastewater designs, coordinating with other disciplines, and building strong technical fundamentals under the guidance of senior engineers.

2–5 years post-graduate experience is preferred, with exposure to Austroads and local requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years post-graduate experience in civil/site infrastructure design.
• Exposure to Austroads and local council/authority requirements or willingness to learn quickly.
• Developing competency in stormwater and familiarity with earthworks and basic water/wastewater design.
• Interest in WSUD principles and how they integrate with stormwater solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform portions of civil/site infrastructure assignments under moderate supervision.
• Gather, interpret and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Work on detailed design tasks involving calculations and modelling.
• Support delivery of stormwater, earthworks and basic water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders on interfaces.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to graduates/entry-level engineers.
