Job summary

Biosis Australia is seeking a Senior Heritage Consultant to join our Sydney team on a permanent basis, applying expertise across Aboriginal and historical archaeology. You will report to the Manager - Heritage (NSW) and contribute to project teams, fieldwork, and client liaison.

This role requires a degree in archaeology, 3–5+ years' experience, strong communication, willingness to work on site and remote locations, and the right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Must have archaeology degree (Honours) or Masters in Archaeology.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in heritage.
• Interest in Aboriginal archaeology and heritage.
• Ability to work on-site and in remote locations.
• Valid driver’s licence and right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to fieldwork projects across Aboriginal and historical archaeology.
• Participate in project teams and project management.
• Prepare reports and communicate with authorities, communities, and clients.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget while upholding Biosis standards.
• Support client liaison and regulatory understanding.
