Job summary

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Strategy and Performance is seeking a strategic and experienced project leader to drive high-impact projects across the southern Adelaide healthcare system. You will coordinate with clinical divisions, executives and stakeholders to deliver practical, sustainable improvements in care.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategy & Performance, you will coach and mentor project professionals, foster a Project Management Community of Practice and help shape the SALHN

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects or programs, including transformational digital solutions, service redesign or operating model changes.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to coach, mentor and support others to build project management skills.
• Experience developing project management capability and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to influence and navigate sensitive issues.
• Strong judgement and problem-solving skills to manage risk and support informed decision-making.
• Resilience, adaptability and a collaborative approach in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, high-impact projects and programs that respond to organisational priorities and improve healthcare services in southern Adelaide.
• Drive transformation and service improvement across diverse initiatives, including technology implementations and changes to models of care.
• Build project management capability by coaching and mentoring PROJECT professionals and contributing to a capability-building framework.
• Foster a strong project management community through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Enable change through planning, stakeholder engagement, change management and governance.
• Partner with clinical, operational, corporate and executive stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve shared objectives.
