Job summary

University of New England (UNE) in Armidale invites applications for the HDR Senior Support Leader role within the Graduate Research School. This continuing, full-time position leads growth initiatives, coordinates RTP rounds, and oversees HDR policy implementation to support candidates and supervisors.

You will provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders, drive process improvements, ensure compliance with TEQSA/ESOS, and build cross-unit partnerships to align GRS activities with university

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in higher education.
• Strong planning and analytical skills; systems design knowledge.
• Proven project management experience in HDR context.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to embrace change.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of growth initiatives such as internships and the National Industry PhD.
• Coordinate RTP rounds and manage HDR policies, procedures and programs.
• Provide strategic advice on policy interpretation, compliance, and operational matters of significant complexity.
• Drive continuous improvement across GRS processes and implement innovative solutions.
• Collaborate across units to align GRS operations with University objectives.
