Job summary

AgriChain is Australia’s leading agricultural supply chain platform connecting growers, storage operators, buyers, processors and end users on one integrated system for contracting, logistics and traceability. We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to own the grain sector sales journey across NSW and Queensland, leveraging long-standing relationships and a field-based, travel-heavy approach.

Based in the grain belt, you will travel weekly, build a greenfield pipeline and hand over

Qualifications

• Well-established relationships with grain growers, storage and bulk handling operators, processors and end users across NSW to QLD.
• Proven track record in business development, account management or a similar role within agriculture.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to a remote national team.
• Willingness for significant weekly travel with a fully maintained vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across Central and Northern NSW, extending into Southern and Central Queensland.
• Leveraging existing relationships with growers, storage facilities, buyers, processors, transport providers, exporters, packers and depots to create opportunities.
• Understanding customers’ businesses and pinpointing where AgriChain adds operational and commercial value.
• Managing opportunities from first handshake through to commercial agreement and handing over to implementation.
• Representing AgriChain at customer meetings, field days, conferences and industry events.
• Collaborating with the broader AgriChain team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
