Job summary

Anduril Industries Australia is seeking a Senior GNC Engineer to architect and deliver Guidance, Navigation and Control sub-systems for autonomous platforms. You will lead design decisions, integrate external tech, and evolve embedded subsystems throughout the life cycle.

The role requires deep GNC software expertise, MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, and strong C/C++ systems programming skills, with Australian security clearance eligibility and on-site collaboration in Sydney.

Qualifications

Extensive experience (at least 6 years) with development of high assurance safety critical GNC software.
Proficient in MATLAB and Simulink.
Strong systems programming skills including concurrency and optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture selection, design and implementation for GNC sub-systems and control schemes for autonomous robotic platforms.
Integrate technology from third-party vendors, R&D partners, and internal teams.
Develop real-time embedded software using a RTOS.
Create test/simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
Analyze test data to verify vehicle performance and GNC behavior.
Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
Mentor Software and Hardware Engineers from diverse backgrounds.
