Job summary

Anduril Industries in Australia seeks a Senior GNC Engineer to architect and deliver GNC subsystems for autonomous platforms. You will integrate tech from partners and internal teams, develop real-time embedded software on RTOS, and create testing fixtures for HIL validation.

Required six+ years in high-assurance GNC software, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and the ability to obtain Australian government clearance. Equity grants and comprehensive benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, CS, or engineering.
• At least 6 years developing high-assurance GNC software for safety-critical systems.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and systems programming (concurrency, optimization).
• Eligible for Australian Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture selection and implementation for GNC subsystems in autonomous platforms.
• Integrate third-party tech, external partners, and internal teams.
• Contribute to embedded subsystems design and development.
• Develop real-time embedded software on RTOS.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for hardware-in-the-loop.
• Analyze test data to validate GNC performance and debug incidents.
• Provide root-cause analysis for vehicle anomalies tied to GNC.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment; mentor other engineers.
