Job summary

Kennedy Reid Pty is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the NSW insurance broking operation from Sydney. You will drive growth, lead a team of brokers and account managers, and manage corporate client relationships to deliver strategic outcomes.

This newly created role requires strong leadership, deep industry experience in General Insurance, and a track record of expanding business across NSW, aligning with senior leadership to achieve ambitious objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in General Insurance Broking industry.
• Strong background in managing Corporate Insurance portfolios.
• Proven leadership experience guiding broking teams.
• Track record of driving significant business growth.
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and market understanding.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop NSW broking team.
• Oversee Corporate Insurance portfolios across NSW.
• Drive growth through new client acquisition and existing client development.
• Build relationships with corporate clients, insurers and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to the NSW broking team.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, client service and efficiency.
• Support development and performance of direct reports.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement growth strategies.
