Job summary

Civil Geotechnical Consultants on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Engineering Geologist to join our growing team. Based in our Sunshine Coast office, you will lead geotechnical and engineering geology projects from proposal through to completion, partnering with clients and mentoring junior staff.

This role offers exposure to transport, energy and community infrastructure projects across Queensland, a collaborative team culture, and relocation

Qualifications

• Client-focused with a commitment to high-quality geotechnical outcomes.
• Strong technical report writing and project management skills.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and geologists.
• Experience managing investigations and geotechnical projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Geology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical and engineering geology projects from proposal through to completion.
• Collaborate with clients and senior team members to ensure results.
• Mentor developing engineers and geologists and support Queensland operations growth.
• Contribute to the region's major infrastructure programs.

About the Role

Based in our Sunshine Coast office, you will play a key role in delivering geotechnical and engineering geology projects from proposal through to completion. You will work closely with clients, mentor developing engineers and geologists, and contribute to the ongoing growth of our Queensland operations.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is client-focused and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
• Has strong technical report writing and project management skills
• Enjoys mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Has experience managing investigations and geotechnical projects
• Holds tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Geology or a related discipline

Preferred but not essential:

• RPEQ registration
• CPEng or equivalent professional recognition
