Job summary

CMW Geosciences is seeking a hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Gold Coast team. You will apply your technical expertise across infrastructure, transmission, and renewable energy projects in a collaborative environment, taking on increasing responsibility as you grow your capability as a well-rounded engineer.

You will work in a supportive team, with onsite fieldwork, data processing, and reporting, while enjoying opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Geotechnical engineer with minimum 4 years of consultancy experience.
• Onsite experience and fieldwork proficiency.
• Full Australian driver’s license and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks under senior guidance.
• Develop technical solutions using engineering and geological principles.
• Carry out fieldwork, data collection/processing and reporting.
• Support progression of project delivery under senior technical staff.

About the role

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with4+ years of experience to join our talented team in the Gold Coast.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks at the direction of senior professional personnel with support and training when required.
• Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using an understanding of engineering and geological principles based on experience gained.
• Carry our fieldwork, data collection/processing and design and reporting.
• Work at the direction of senior technical staff to support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• Minimum 4 years ofexperience as a Geotechnical Engineerpart of a consultancy
• Onsite experience
• Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
• A full Australian drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
