Job summary

Egis invites applications for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Brisbane team, delivering geotechnical services across national projects. You will report to the Discipline Leader and contribute to project execution, reporting, and client engagement.

The role involves managing diverse projects, mentoring staff, and collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment within the resources sector. Brisbane CBD base with flexible/remote options.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years in geotechnical roles within industry or consulting.
• RPEQ and CPENG highly desired but not mandatory.
• Experience on resources sector projects, including water infrastructure.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing a range of geotechnical projects across life stages locally and nationally.
• Ensuring delivery aligns with schedule and budget for key clients.
• Conducting geotechnical analyses, modelling, and detailed design.
• Preparing project deliverables and managing project financials and reports.
• Undertaking site investigations, supervision, and construction support inspections.
• Supporting business development and client management activities.
