Job summary

NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst based in Parramatta or at an approved EPA office location. You will design and deliver advanced spatial capabilities to support regulatory operations, environmental programs and business systems.

You will apply ArcGIS technologies, automate workflows, and integrate data sources while collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders to improve accessibility and reliability of spatial information across the

Qualifications

• Relevant degree-level qualification in geospatial science, GIS, spatial information management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience using Esri ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, with experience in automating workflows and integrating systems and data sources.
• Strong scripting, automation and web development skills using Python, JavaScript and the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, with experience developing custom web mapping applications and data processing solutions.
• Experience working with APIs, web services, databases and system integrations, including the ability to consume, transform and publish spatial and non-spatial data.

Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance spatial systems, web applications and automated workflows within EPA's geospatial environment.
• Improve data management practices and streamline business processes.
• Support delivery of reliable and scalable spatial services across the organisation.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
