Job summary

NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is seeking a geospatial professional to help deliver spatial capabilities that support regulatory operations, environmental programs and business systems across the organisation.

You will configure and enhance spatial systems, web applications and automated workflows within EPA's geospatial environment, using scripting and modern GIS technologies to improve data management, workflows and scalable spatial services.

Qualifications

Relevant degree-level qualification in geospatial science, GIS, spatial information management, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience using Esri ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, with experience in automating workflows and integrating systems and data sources.
Experience working with APIs, web services, databases and system integrations, including the ability to consume, transform and publish spatial and non-spatial data.
Understanding of modern geospatial architecture, data management and cloud-based geospatial platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
