Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment is seeking a GIS Analyst for a two-week full-time assignment in Sydney, NSW. The role focuses on processing spatial data and delivering fauna, flora and habitat maps using ArcMap 10 and ArcGIS Online.

There is potential to move to part-time later. Tasks include spatial analysis, data collection (DXF and aerials), and preparing data for clients and the Department of Environment. ArcPro experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ArcMap 10 and ArcGIS.
• ArcPro experience is optional.
• Ability to provide innovative spatial solutions.
• Attention to detail in maps layout.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spatial data from various sources to deliver fauna, flora and habitat maps.
• Create maps in ArcMap 10.7 showing surveyed flora and fauna using aerial photographs and GPS data.
• Collect and import client data (DXF footprints and aerial photographs).
• Provide spatial analyses (area calculations, intersections, overlays, buffers).
• Prepare spatial data for clients and Department of Environment.
• Data management and filing systems.
