Job summary
AECOM’s GIS Team in Sydney offers an exciting opportunity for a highly driven spatial systems professional to support a wide range of projects across AECOM sectors. We regularly support the Transport, Environment, Water, Energy and Building & Places teams across infrastructure, sustainability and resilience projects.
As part of this role, you will support day-to-day GIS requirements including mapping, GIS analysis, web applications, data management, creating and maintaining metadata, deploying
Qualifications
- Strong skills in spatial data management, spatial analysis, cartography, and ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap.
- Experience with data conversion, FME, and tools like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Exposure to ArcGIS Online, Survey123, web map publishing, Python scripting, and 3D visualization tools like Leapfrog or EVS.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (bachelor’s degree in Spatial Science, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or similar).
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day GIS requirements including mapping, GIS analysis, web applications, data management and metadata creation/maintenance.
- Deploy data field collection tools and provide technical software user support.
- Maintain AECOM platforms and assist project teams with GIS needs.
- Troubleshoot GIS issues and ensure outputs are high quality and fit for purpose.
