Job summary

Kent Town Hotel, part of the Tilley & Wills Hospitality Group, seeks an experienced Functions Manager to lead planning, sales, and delivery of events across our Adelaide venue. You’ll act as the client single point of contact from enquiry through to on-the-day execution, manage budgets, propose spaces, and coordinate with kitchen, bar and floor teams to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in functions/events role; venue experience preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Strong sales acumen to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple events.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end function and events process from enquiry to delivery.
• Drive function sales and build a pipeline of weddings and events.
• Build relationships with corporate clients and planners.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and floor teams to ensure flawless events.
• Manage budgets, minimum spends, and profitability.
• Lead and support function staff on event days.
• Maintain and grow Kent Town Hotel's reputation as a leading Adelaide events destination.
