Job summary

Fiskil is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure on a platform powering Australia’s Open Data economy. You’ll work with Go, TypeScript, React, Terraform, and Google Cloud, taking ownership of ambiguous problems and delivering high-quality software.

You’ll bring 5+ years of production software experience, strong Go and GCP expertise, and a full-stack perspective across APIs, frontend, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software experience
• Strong hands-on Go production experience
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience across frontend, backend, APIs and infrastructure
• TypeScript and React experience
• API design and distributed systems
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Security best practices for enterprise software
• OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication/authorization
• Strong CS fundamentals and data structures
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset
• Experience with AI coding tools
