Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Level Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and optimise our next generation products. You will work across a modern stack including .NET microservices, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps practices to deliver real community impact in transport and mobility networks.

You’ll collaborate with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead in an agile team to deliver high-quality features each sprint, spanning back-end services to front-end UI.

Qualifications

• Experience in Scrum, DevOps and continuous delivery in a software product environment.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET for building microservices and business logic.
• Experience with AWS core services.
• Experience with REST, JSON and modern API patterns; exposure to gRPC or Protobuf is essential.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Redis).
• Experience with git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as GitLab.
• Comfortable in both Windows and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs across the stack.
• Craft high-performance front-end UI alongside back-end components.
• Adopt secure development practices, peer code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams in an agile framework.
• Contribute to documentation, design discussions and knowledge-sharing.
