Linktree is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join Grow – Insights in a role that blends data engineering with user-facing analytics. You’ll shape how events are captured, ingested and exposed via GraphQL, building surfaces where creators can act on insights.

This role spans instrumentation, data modelling, API design and frontend work across TypeScript, React, Node.js and AWS. You’ll collaborate with product, design and data teams to decide what matters to measure and how best to present

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally on a product/analytics team.
• Solid full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship analytics surfaces used by creators to understand their audience, from the Insights page to the AI-powered chat.
• Own the end-to-end metric path: instrumentation, ingestion, aggregation, GraphQL API and UI.
• Extend social platform integrations to bring YouTube, TikTok and Instagram data into Linktree.
• Partner with product, design and data to decide what is worth measuring and translate into a technical plan.
• Maintain data trust: attribution, data quality, plan entitlements, and checks to prevent issues.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Grow – Insights, the team that turns the raw signal from 70+ million Linktree profiles into something creators can act on. Insights spans the analytics surfaces inside the Linktree admin, the AI-powered insights chat that helps Linkers understand what’s working, and the social integrations that bring YouTube, TikTok and Instagram performance data into one place.

As a full-stack engineer on this team, you’ll work the whole path: instrumenting the events that capture how visitors interact with a Linktree, shaping how those events are ingested and aggregated, exposing them through our GraphQL API, and building the surfaces where creators see and act on them. You’ll partner closely with product, design and data to decide what is worth measuring, and you’ll be hands-on across TypeScript, React, Node and AWS.

This is a role for someone who likes being close to both the data and the person reading it. Every insight you ship changes how a creator understands their audience, and helps Linktree achieve our mission: to empower anyone to curate and grow their digital universe.

What You’ll Own

• Build and ship the analytics surfaces creators use to understand their audience, from the Insights page through to the AI-powered insights chat.
• Own the path a metric takes end-to-end: client instrumentation, event ingestion, aggregation, the GraphQL API, and the interface that renders it.
• Extend the social platform integrations that bring YouTube, TikTok and Instagram performance data into Linktree.
• Partner with product, design and data to decide what is worth measuring, then turn that into a prioritised technical plan.
• Keep insight data trustworthy: attribution, data quality, plan-tier entitlements, and the checks that catch problems before creators do.
• Bring AI into how you build, and into the product where it helps a creator make sense of their numbers.
• Improve the reliability, performance and observability of the systems behind Insights, and mentor peers as the team grows.

Who We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally including time on a product, analytics or data-facing team.
• Solid full-stack skills across our core stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS, with the ability to move across layers to ship a feature end-to-end.
• Comfortable with data: SQL, data modelling, event schemas, and working with warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and third-party services, ideally including social or platform APIs.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, Codex and similar), including how to prompt, validate and refine what these tools produce.
• A product instinct for what is worth measuring, and comfort interpreting data to make decisions rather than waiting to be told.
• Clear communicator who works well with product, design and data partners across Melbourne, Sydney and other time zones.
