Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional application development experience.
• Proven production Java developer.
• Experience in FinTech or Higher Education sectors is highly appreciated.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality code in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality, testable and maintainable code in the billing and payments system.
• Use AI‑tools to analyse codebases, answer architectural questions and accelerate system understanding.
• Ensure security, quality, scalability and performance are maintained at all times.
• Diagnose issues using tools and provide timely solutions.
• Communicate effectively with engineering, product and client teams; participate in client meetings when required.
• Engage in solutioning meetings, debating design choices in a collaborative manner.
